Cesare Cremonini, the former lead singer of Lunapop, and Micaela Ramazzotti are the protagonists of The Heart of the big girls, a love story set in the past directed by Pupi Avati, among the most highly anticipated Festival of Rome 2011, after dealing with the disease in The Boundless Youth returns to pick up the threads of what we have been, long time ago.
The cast is completed by Andrea Ronchi, Sydne Rome, Gianni Cavina, Gisella Sofio, Erica Blanc, Manuela Morabito, Sara Shepherd, Marcello Caroli, Rita Pugs.
The film is set in the first half of the '30s. The peasant family of Vigetti has three children, including Carlino,
much loved by young girls. The Osti instead are landowners who have made a fortune and live in a house with their three daughters, all to marry. Making the best of a bad fate, Osti accept that his son courting two sisters with the intent to place at least one. But the plan is upset by the sudden arrival of Francesca, the smallest and most beautiful of the three, the city where she was sent to study.
